The day began with a gentle warm zephyr blowing off the ocean.
It was Hannah’s day; a day of celebration for those women who had fought and won their battle, those who had fought and lost and those who were still in the fight.
A sea of pink; raising money for vital breast cancer research. Hannah, a young 20 something, struggled to keep up the pace; courageous in her quest to walk on the day; a poignant reminder to us all of this diseases indiscriminate reach.
We left the beach, thankful for our health and those of our loved ones.
